The Fagan Flyers is a support group for the Sidney Municipal Airport in Sidney, New York (N23). Our mission is to promote general aviation through continuing education concerning flight safety and FAA regulations and requirements. Members of our group are available to speak to school and community groups about aviation related topics.
Our membership includes airline pilots, military pilots, aeronautical engineers, aviation consultants, an FAA examiner, flight instructors, commercial pilots, private pilots and student pilots. One of our members actually built and flies his own aircraft. However, many of our members are non-pilots. Anyone interested in aviation is invited to join the Fagan Flyers. We meet at noon on the second Saturday of the month, at the Sidney Municipal Airport.
The Fagan Flyers sponsor two fly-in breakfasts a year, one in the spring and one in October. Proceeds from these events are used to improve and enhance the Sidney Municipal Airport.
